Discover the perfect blend of food, art, and natural beauty on our A Taste of East Lansing: Culinary Class, Art & Gardens day tour. Your adventure begins at Local Epicurean, where you'll step into a welcoming teaching kitchen for a private, hands-on culinary class led by a professional chef. Learn the techniques behind preparing roast chicken cannelloni with a rich Marsala wine sauce while enjoying a complete meal that also includes a fresh caprese salad made with house-made mozzarella and a refreshing handmade apricot sorbetto for dessert. Whether you're an experienced home cook or simply love good food, this interactive experience is both fun and delicious.

After lunch, we'll visit the striking Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum on the campus of Michigan State University. Designed by internationally acclaimed architect Zaha Hadid, the museum is as much a work of art as the collections it houses. Browse thought-provoking contemporary exhibitions at your own pace while admiring the museum's bold, modern design. Next, we'll stop at the beloved MSU Dairy Store, where you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a scoop of the university's famous, award-winning ice cream made right on campus using milk from Michigan State's own dairy herd. We'll conclude our day with a peaceful stroll through the beautiful MSU Horticulture Gardens, featuring colorful seasonal blooms, themed display gardens, tranquil pathways, and picturesque landscapes that provide the perfect ending to a relaxing summer getaway.
