Experience an informative driving tour around Belle Isle, followed by a docent-led Maritime History Tour at the museum. Whether by birch bark canoe, sailing ship, steamboat, hydroplane or giant freighter, Detroiters have used the Great Lakes to build their city, their fortunes and their lives.
